Photonic Generation of Wideband Chirped Microwave Waveforms

چکیده

A chirped microwave waveform with a large time-bandwidth product (TBWP) can find important applications in modern radar systems and imaging systems. Microwave photonics, field that studies the generation processing of signals optical domain to take advantage ultra-wide bandwidth offered by has been considered an effective solution for high-frequency large-bandwidth generation. In this paper, overview on photonic wideband waveforms is provided. Three major methods are discussed including based spectral shaping frequency-to-time (SS-FTT) mapping, frequency multiplication, Fourier-domain mode-locking optoelectronic oscillator (OEO). The performance techniques studied. Techniques generate integrated circuits (PICs) also discussed.
